Meet the Pilot:

Traviston Pauly

Commercial Ferry Pilot

9 year aircraft owner/operator

I bought my first aircraft (a 1959 Cessna 172) in 2015 and have been gaining experience ever since. I traded the 172 for a Mooney where I learned to plan long cross country’s and gained mountain flying experience. I then transitioned to A Skybolt aerobatic biplane where I learned to fly tailwheel as well as compete in aerobatic competition.

Performing many owner-assisted Annual Inspections as well as fixing many unexpected maintenance issues on the road has taught me a lot about maintaining small piston engine aircraft. I have dealt with sticky fuel drains, dead alternators, stuck carb heat valves, clogged fuel injectors, broken fuel servos, and even an entire cylinder change on ferry’s before. My years of cost-savvy aircraft ownership ensure that whatever comes up during the trip, I can ensure the aircraft is still delivered with the safety of the aircraft (and your wallet!) in mind.

I compete in Aerobatic Competitions around the country whenever possible. Competition Aerobatic flying helps develop advanced stick and rudder skills.

I have found that aerobatic biplanes with no view over the nose are one of the most difficult types of aircraft I fly. This means that I am very well prepared when I hop into Cubs or any normal tricycle gear aircraft as being able to see out the front is a luxury for me!

I will fly just about anything.

From a 30 mph Part 103 ultralight to a 350HP Express 2000RG, I will fly just about anything.

Even if your aircraft isn’t winning any awards for cosmetics, as long as its airworthy, I can get it delivered to you.
